The holiest city in all of India, Varanasi.March 17, 2017
The Taj Mahal is located in Agra.
Agra's honestly not the most interesting place, but a day or two there is pretty phenomenal.
Third stop in India: Varanasi
Watch my video below to get a nice little glimpse at the Taj and the city it resides in:
Indian tourists were just as interested in taking pictures with us as they were of the Taj. Well not really, but we did get a few requests.
A view of the legendary structure. Speaking of legends, do you know the true story of the Taj? A king built it as a memorial shrine to his deceased wife. Both their bodies lay there now.
This shot is taken from within the Taj, looking out through a tile to one of the Taj's satellite buildings (this one I think is a mosque).
If you were the photographer, the Taj would be right behind you in this photo. What you're looking out is the Taj's garden walkway.
These unique-looking women are from the Indian state of Gujarat. This state is like 99% vegetarian FYI.
Here are some boys I bought McDonald's and shared lunch with.
Agra Fort, which you are looking at here, is the other main attraction of the city.
